Featuring Function The wireless system collects responses from an audience using radio frequency data communication, so that wiring or cabling is not needed around the room. Questions may be asked and the responses analyzed, displayed and printed by a controlling computer. ARS can accomodate Multiple Choice or YES/NO questions for up to 2000 participants at a single location. Performance Wireless keypads are interrogated by sequence. The response indicator lights up when an entry has been made on the keypad. The light goes out when the response has been successfully transmitted to the control center. System timing allows for a maximum response time of 2.5 seconds, regardless of the number of keypads in use. Reliability is enhanced through acknowledgement capability, allowing the control center to handshake with each individual keypad. Range and Frequency The system is designed to provide reliable operation of up to 250 keypads on each channel or frequency, within an area of 75 square feet.
