PowerPoll®
PowerPoll®
is an ActiveX control for use with Microsoft PowerPoint®, With
PowerPoll, any existing or new PowerPoint slide can include an audience
polling question, without the need for complicated authoring. Just
create multiple-choice questions as normal PowerPoint slides, leaving
room for the response summary graph, then insert the PowerPoll object.
PowerPoll gives you control over colors, fonts, labeling and styles
of the response graph. Polling the audience during a presentation
is as easy as clicking a small keypad icon. A countdown clock gives
the audience time to select a response on their wireless keypads.
Music can also be played during the countdown. When the time clock
expires, a summary graph of the responses immediately appears. All
responses are saved as part of the PowerPoint slide show and can
be viewed or printed like any other slide. Optionally, individual
keypad data can be saved into a comma delimited file for further
analysis in spreadsheet or database format.
PowerPoll® requires:
- Pentium (equal or better) computer running MS Windows95®,
Windows98® or Windows NT 4.0®, with one unused serial
communications (COM) port
- Microsoft Power Point '97 or higher
