wInquiryä 3.0 FAQ's Qbases |
| Will older version wInquiry Qbases (*.QBF) convert to the New 3.0 platform? |
|
Yes. Old style Qbase (*.QBF) files can be imported into a Version 3 Qbase (*.QBX) while maintaining the defaults. Here's how. First create a project folder and then choose New Qbase and name your qbase. If you wish to save the old qbase defaults settings, check the box next to Use Defaults from Existing Qbase and click OK, otherwise, leave the box unchecked. If the box is checked, click the import (.QBF) file button and locate the file, highlight it, and click to open. To import some or all of the old qbase questions click the Import button. Set files of type to version 2.X qbase files (.QBF), and then locate the (.QBF) file you wish to import, highlight it, and enter the Import Range High/Low of questions you wish to bring into the new qbase (.QBX). The Maintain Old Filter ID should not be checked because filtering is handled differently between the Versions. You will have to re-create filters once the questions are imported. |
